Law Professor of Private International Law, a Political Scientist and an Advisor of International and Governmental Affairs to international corporations in Brazil and Latin America. He graduated from the School of Law of Valença, Rio de Janeiro, and studied International Law at the Hague Academy of International Law and Political Science at the University of Paris I – Panthéon Sorbonne. Sidney Costa served for several years as a member of the International Scientific and Professional Advisory Board of the United Nations Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice Program. He has extensive experience in government and administration in Brazil, having served as advisor to the Presidency of the Chamber of Deputies, as Chief of Staff of the Minister of State of Tourism, as Chief Advisor of Institutional Relations of the Presidency of the Republic, and as Executive of the Brazilian Trade and Investment Agency. Presently, he is a member of the Center of Constitutional Studies of Brasilia.
